Do you do other types of sewing besides quilting? : I do hand embroidery, cross stitch, sew clothing. I like to do wall hangings and table runners
Do you have other creative hobbies?: I love anything and everything that has to do with art and music and being creative. From drawing, to designing to creating. It all brings me joy and peace
What’s your oldest UFO? Any tips on how you keep them from piling up?: I have some that are too old to even list…. that’s what happens when you start sewing at the age of 6 and have lived to be 70…. that’s a lot of time for UFO
What’s your favorite creative outlet?: Being able to sit down and design with no pressure or demands. Doing it at my own pace and being able to have the time to really study the colors and the layout. I am a full time interior designer and do a lot of design work for flooring and interiors. So this is a very relaxing way to do something I love for myself T
Tell us about your family! : I am widowed and take care of my 91 year old mother. She still works on quilts. She is a little slower but still does amazing work. She has taught me from the time I was 6 years old to this day about sewing. She was a seamstress for many years and made all of our clothes for a family of seven. She has a true love and sewing and has passed it on to me
