Where are you from and where do you live now?: My husband & I are originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada & we now reside in Comox, British Columbia, Canada. We have been living in Comox for approximately 44 years.
What is your favorite project you’ve ever made and why?: I made a Mine Craft quilt for one of our grandsons. It was so much fun to put together. It was like doing a jigsaw puzzle. Sam loved it.

What color seems to always make its way into your quilts?: I seem to have a lot of blue fabric & green fabric, so I guess those two colors are my main colors.

Do you do other types of sewing besides quilting? : I sew for our 3 grandsons.
Do you have other creative hobbies?: I really enjoy doing cross stitch, knitting & photography.

What’s your oldest UFO? Any tips on how you keep them from piling up?: My oldest UFO is the first quilt I made. I have the backing & batting, but I just haven’t put it together. I have always made my quilts for other people, so I had to finish them. At the moment I have 5 UFOs, so I guess that isn’t too bad.
What’s your favorite creative outlet?: I would have to say that cross stitch is my favorite creative outlet. I can do cross stitch for hours.

Tell us about your family! : We have 2 girls. Our oldest daughter is married & they have 1 little boy aged 6. They were teachers in China for the past 8 years & are now in the process of moving to Ethiopia. Our youngest daughter lives in Australia with her husband & 2 boys, aged 11 & 13. She is an ICU nurse.

What’s your favorite food? : I love Asian food. Mainly Japanese or Thai.
What’s your favorite TV Show or Movie?: I love watching the old musicals. I can watch them over & over.
Who’s your favorite fabric designer?: I don’t think I have a favorite designer.
Do you have a favorite collection from The Art of Home Club?: I really loved the Seaside Getaway Collection.
