Our Club Member of the Week this week is- Janice Neaves ! Everyone say hi to Janice ! I hope you will enjoy getting to know her a little better!

Where are you from and where do you live now?: Las Cruces, NM. My family came here in 1954 when I was 8 and I’ve been here ever since.

What is your favorite project you’ve ever made and why?: I had a booth selling little girls Tutu costumes at the local farmers market. It was a ball making outfits which included embroidered onesie outfits for infant boys and girls along with the tutus. My booth was Gmas Tutu Cuties. Then covid hit and it went out of business.

What color seems to always make its way into your quilts?: Blue and yellow.

Do you do other types of sewing besides quilting? : I just made patio curtains.

Do you have other creative hobbies?: Card making

What’s your oldest UFO? Any tips on how you keep them from piling up?: I just finished a baby quilt that I started for my 23 year old granddaughter.

Tell us about your family! : I am a 77 year old widow with two Daughters and three lively grand daughters.

What’s your favorite food? : In NM so Mexican food.

Do you have a favorite collection from The Art of Home Club?: I’m new to the Club but I am loving Hen Party.

Is there anything else you’d like to share??: I am working on Hen Party, the Christmas village and have downloaded Dresden Dreams. That should keep me busy for a while.
