At what age did you start sewing/quilting? Sewing – 7/8 years. Quilting 65/66 years
What is your most favorite project you ever made and why? A Logcabin quilt, I made it by myself after learning the technique in a patchwork and quilting class
Who or what inspired you to become a quilter? A cushion cover made at a taster day
What color do you have a hard time using in your quilts and why? Browns, it not a favorite color of mine
What color seems to always make its way into your quilts? Purple seems to find its way into a lot of them
Do you do other types of sewing besides quilting? (clothing, home décor, etc.). Cushion covers, doorstops/cuddly toys, a little dressmaking
Do you have other creative hobbies? (cooking, knitting, painting, gardening….). Reading, baking, knitting, gardening
If you won a shopping spree to a quilt store, what is the first thing you would splurge on? Fabric
Favorite sewing gadget? Duel Feed foot
What’s your oldest UFO? A knitted cushion cover
What type of quilt or block is on your “bucket list” and why? Free motion quilting, it looks so amazing
Tell us about your family (children, grandchildren, fur babies, etc.). Married for 47 years, 2 grown up sons, no grandchildren
Where do you live, and what is your favorite thing about where you live? Lancashire in England. We back onto fields and see lots of local wildlife

Are you a rightie or leftie? Rightie
Anything else you’d like to share: Since retirement, Patchwork and Quilting has been a life saver especially using inspirational pattern such as the Silver Linings quilt.
